Two more Suzi Blu faces

I've uploaded these two faces I made for a book I'm exchanging with my sister.

The lady with the hat turned out really lovely, but when I glued my drawing page down in the book, it wrinkled terribly.... ;=(((

So I made another one. This one is more intense, more thoughtful. I must have been in a different mood.
Here is the front cover. It's an old wedding photo album, quite a large format.

And I made one of my painting directly in the book. The first time I painted directly on paper. Of course, it did wrinkle a bit. It's under a pile of books now, hopefully it will flatten out.

  3. I love them all! I wish I were your sister! She is very lucky. YES glue really helps keep thinner papers from wrinkling. It's been suggested to thin it just a bit with water and after trying it, I found it works great that way. It should flatten out under the weight. She's going to love it even if it doesn't!

  5. These turned out beautiful. I am taking Suzi Blu Angel class. I still don't have all my supplies, can't wait to get started on it. In the mean time I am doing the same practicing and applying to other projects. Looks great, your sister is very lucky!

  7. WOW, the faces are completely amazing! You are rocking that class, Sox! I didn't even notice the embellishments around them at first, because the faces just grab your attention and don't let go.

  12. Somes times when I really, really don't want an image to wrinkle I glue it in with rubber cement. It is smelly but it will not wrinkle any paper.
